OSHO & Tapoban

I was a hardcore Osho follower when I used to live in the USA. Rajnishpuram was not far from where I used to live and I got a chance to talk to many Oshoites where I learned the rise and fall of Rajneeshpuram at Wasco County, Oregon USA. I have read books written by OSHO, Jiddu Krishnamurti, U. G. Krishnamurti , Ramana Maharshi, sadhguru and many others but still, I cannot say with certainty why the mysterious mechanism of metaphysical and spiritual search is activated in a person. The truth is that it is unleashed in certain human beings and urges them to satisfy their spiritual needs in addition to those that are purely material or sensory. Seeker does not resign himself to his limitations of understanding and strives to find an answer to existential questions.

Despite the doctrine he has to offer, I never like the idea the Guru, an apostle of peace and love had his own private army, armed with Uzi-B machine guns, Magnum 44, assault rifles m-16 and possessing ninety-two Rolls Royce cars, six aircraft, a large collection of jewelry. OSHO was one of the most charismatic but controversial mystic leaders of all time. Demystifying Osho is not an easy thing to do. Hats off to those who outgrew with immense knowledge. Outgrow is freedom highway. Love is the circumference, freedom is the center. Love and freedom are not separate things, you can not choose. Either you will have two or you will be forced to leave both.

As a spiritual seeker, we have to get the best out of what is available out there. Osho world is a mammoth stage and people like Ma Anand Sheela, former personal secretary of Bhagwan Shree and Swami Anand Arun are merely players and we all are nothing but a heap of neurons, cells, molecules that are ultimately only physicochemical compounds. The world exists only in our thought and our ideas that create things. The old one has to go, for the new one to come.

As far as Osho Taooban controversy goes, There’s no smoke without fire. We need to get your facts straight. I never had and never will have any issue with Osho and his teaching but We shouldn’t trust any so-called Gurus blindly especially in today’s world. Most people think Osho is a religion, it’s not. It’s a way of life with a religious component.
